It’s the WA Day weekend, and what better time to explore and celebrate our little part of Western Australia, the Perthfect Hills. From bush-walking to self-drive tours the Perth Hills has something that’s your speed this long weekend.
Spend the day walking the Bibbulmun Track from Kalamunda to Hewetts Hill Campsite where you will find the first hut on the track. The 20km round hiking trip will take you 6 hours – unless you have support crew who are willing to pick you up and make a detour to the Mundaring Weir Hotel for a celebratory bevvy? Don’t forget sturdy boots, water, and a hat. Discover a walk trail here
Self Drive Tours
Enjoy driving in the Perth Hills? Why not try one of two self-drive tour maps available from the visitor centre. Both tours take in the natural attractions, wineries, history, and art of the Kalamunda and Mundaring regions.
World Cider Day
Celebrate World Cider Day on Sunday, 3 June with a visit to three of the brightest and best Cider producers in the Perth Hills. Visit CORE Cider House, Naked Apple Cider House or the new kid on the block, Roleystone Brewing Co and wish them ‘Happy Cider Day.’
