Schools out and we’ve heard the collective sigh and scratching of heads from parents across Perth. Unless you’re heading somewhere warm and tropical, the Winter holidays are always the hardest to keep the kids entertained. Mum’s and Dad’s, we’ve heard you, and we’ve put together a list of all the holiday fun and frivolity to be had across the Hills for the kids.

PONY CAMP

Is your darling daughter a fan of horses, then this could be the ultimate 2-day camp for her? Activities include horse riding, horse-related activities, games, quizzes, and a bonfire. No mobile phones or computers. Perfect for girls aged 7 - 15 years old.

BE OUR GUEST! A School Holiday Dance & Sing-Along Concert

The Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre presents a morning of school holiday Disney fun with interactive singing and dancing with Zane & Chloe. Dress up as your favourite character and join in the singing and dancing.

Fun for ages 2 - 15, tickets are $12.50 with refreshments available on the day. *Please note: Parents, guardians, carers are free but must stay.

ARALUEN BOTANIC PARK Winter Holiday Fun! Spend the day at the Araluen Botanic Park making Bird Feeders, planting Tulip bulbs and even take an exciting walk throughout the Park with our Horticulturalists.

All activities are suitable for ages 3+, start at 10 am, and last approximately 2 hours. Bookings required.

KAARAKIN JUNIOR WILDLIFE GUARDIAN HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Up-close wildlife encounters and nature-based activities. The volunteers at the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre are running a school holiday Junior Wildlife Guardian program with up-close wildlife encounters and nature-based activities.

After dark Tours The awesome wildlife carers at Kanyana Wildlife Centre will take you on an after dark tour to see some of Kanyana's most active nighttime critters. A fun evening for people of all ages and abilities. Bookings are essential.

SANTA’S BIBBULMUN VACATION

For the young and young at heart! Join the Bibbulmun Track Foundation for a 4km return stroll to meet Santa and friends on holiday from the North Pole at a Bibbulmun Track campsite.

BYO picnic supper while listening to Santa’s stories. Then experience a magical return by torchlight following the reflective Waugal trail markers.
