An exciting and new music concept for the Perth Hills is about to hit Kalamunda, and everyone is invited!
The Kalamunda Music Festival is a three-day celebration from Friday 23 August to Sunday 25 August of live music of all genres and is designed to showcase the incredible talent in the region and bring people together through a love of music.
The festival aims to provide a platform for musicians to share their skills and appreciation of music with others, celebrate music, and nurture the creation of more live music in the hills.
A wide range of cafes, restaurants, and clubs will host musicians in their venues over the weekend from Friday 23 August. You will be able to sit and relax, enjoy a coffee or a meal, and be entertained by an extensive line-up of talented musicians busking for your listening pleasure.
A small number of ticketed shows are also on offer, with the always fun Milford Street Shakers performing at the Lesmurdie Club, a Friday Fest at the Kalamunda Hotel and a special concert featuring multiple performers at the Pickering Brook Sports Club.
Another unique ticketed feature of the festival is the Songwriters Round Table evening presented by award-winning songwriter and community radio personality Matt Cal. The evening will be filled with music and interviews, held in a talk show-style setting upstairs in the cosy wine bar of The Vault Restaurant in Kalamunda. Get your tickets here.
