An orchestral extravaganza is coming this November! 


Perth Symphony Orchestra and Phil Walleystack in partnership with the City of Kalamunda, are delighted to be presenting Spirit of the Valley.

Spirit of the Valley


The event will be held during the annual Perth Hills Spring Festival.


6.00PM - 9.00PM
Venue: Melrose, 50 Mottram Road, Carmel

Come along and enjoy an evening of music with Phil Walleystack accompanied by a full orchestra, with the opening act featuring local musical talent Whiskey Jack.


This amazing show will dazzle your senses in the beautiful surrounds of Melrose’s stunningly curated garden.


Book your tickets, pack your picnic blankets and seats and get ready to experience an evening of heavenly music under a canopy of stars amplified by the sweet perfume of roses.


BYO is permitted with the opportunity to purchase food and drinks at the venue from food trucks.

Early Bird Terms & Conditions

The Promoter:

The promoter of this Competition is the City of Kalamunda (the “Promoter”) (ABN 60 741 095 678), 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda, WA 6076, Australia.

  • Entry into the Competition must have purchased a ticket to attend the Spirit of the Valley event being held on Saturday, 13 November 2021.

  • The Competition opens at 4pm WST on Tuesday, 2 November 2021 and closes at 10am WST on Monday, 8 November 2021. Any entry received after the expiry of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid.  No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

  • The winner will be randomly selected by computer at 10:30am on Monday, 8 November 2021. These selected details selected are final and non-negotiable.

  • The winner will be contacted by 5pm, Tuesday 9 November 2021

  • The winner must have provided a valid phone number when purchasing tickets

  • Prize Awarding:

    • You agree that the Promoter may use your details and attendees, including photos, of the VIP concert experience provided to the Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter in any medium without notice and without any fee being paid to you.

    • Decisions of the Promoter will be binding on each person attending the VIP concert experience.

    • Winner will be notified via phone number provided when purchasing the tickets.

    • The name of the prize winners will be published on and Facebook and Instagram.

    • No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash.

  • Exclusion of liability:

    • To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize.

  • Disqualification

    • The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
