The Education Team conduct sessions at Kanyana's onsite Education Centre or visits schools and community facilities with their Education for Conservation van. The 'hands on' approach provides an up-close experience with animals such as Echidnas, Tawny Frogmouth, Stimson python, frogs, a Bilby or a possum. This is a powerful educational tool which changes attitudes for life. Sessions can be tailored for primary school to high school aged students as well as adults. Kalamunda Open Studios is an event held every year in October up in the Perth Hills.
Professional artists open their studios to the public for conversation, information and art sales. The Kalamunda area has a very large and diverse population of artists who enjoy the lifestyle and find inspiration for their work in this creative community.
